It is one of the few white wines from El Bierzo aged on lees. Godelia Godello rests five months on lees in tanks. What makes this wine special is the evolution of the white grape and the time in the bottle. Godelia Godello has a gift that is very hard to obtain: it is ideal for sitting around and chatting, since it is fresh and has a lot of character, but it is also excellent for pairing, thanks to its nuances.

Unique wine, of great complexity, with a high gastronomic profile.

Strict and meticulous selection of the grapes in the vineyard. Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes. Thermal treatment of the grapes during the process at 5ºC. Manual sorting table. Gentle de-stemming and pressing with an inert atmosphere. Static racking of the must during 24 hours and fermentation separately in 150 hl stainless steel tanks at 15ºC.
Five-month crianza aged in tank on fine lees applying the bâttonage technique.

90% godello + 10% doña blanca.


Godello plants 30 to 60 years old and Doña Blanca plants 60 to 80 years old.

Tasting notes

Bright straw in colour, it has an intense and fruity nose, in which stone and citrus fruits as well as white flowers are prominent. It has a mineral background and slight hints of fennel and freshly cut grass.
In the mouth it is very creamy, fruity, and elegant, with its characteristic mineral and slightly saline notes, which together with the acidity give it a fresh and persistent finish.


Consume between 6-8°C. Ideal for appetizers, fish, and seafood. We love to enjoy it with Galician a feira-style octopus.
